More Trouble for Obama - Late Paying Parking Tickets!

Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement that he might have had a potential conflict of interest regarding a blind trust, Barack Obama saw his presidential campaign begin to spiral into a steep dive with today's revelation that he had unpaid parking tickets from the time he lived in Cambridge, MA in the late 80s to early 90s. Yahoo News AP wire excerpt:

BOSTON - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama got more than an education when he attended Harvard Law School in the late 1980s. He also got a healthy stack of parking tickets, most of which he never paid.

The Illinois Senator shelled out $375 in January — two weeks before he officially launched his presidential campaign — to finally pay for 15 outstanding parking tickets and their associated late fees.

Obama received 17 parking tickets in Cambridge between 1988 and 1991, mostly for parking in a bus stop, parking without a resident permit and failing to pay the meter, records from the Cambridge Traffic, Parking and Transportation office show. He incurred $140 in fines and $260 in late fees in Cambridge in all, but he paid $25 for two of the tickets in February 1990.

Full Non-Story

Does this man have no shame? Forget what I said about him yesterday, Obama is obviously a first-class turd. Ken Kanniff, Connecticut's Most Wanted Gangsta and I chewed this latest atrocity over during a few minutes of down time at our wage slavery containment facility, and we came to acknowledge some sad truths about Obama:
  • He was wrong to have represented Tawana Brawley in her harassment suit.
  • He ran terrible presidential campaigns in 1984 and 1988, and that bloody shirt was in bad taste.
  • He angered the Honorable Elijah Mohammed back in the 60s.
  • Harry Lennix's stark portrayal of him in "Keep the Faith, Baby" revealed his corrupt soul.
Okay, seriously folks, what is going on here? Are we really going to get our collective sets of undergarments into a gigantic group twist over this "matter"? Shouldn't we be concentrating on the really important shit like stopping gay people from getting married, investigating baseball's steroid problem or making fun of the hairstyles of the male contestants in American Idol? I mean really!

Special thanks to Ken for inspiration on some of the bulleted items!
